Responsible gambling
Betting should be entertainment you can afford, never a way to make money you need. If it stops being fun, free and confidential help is a call or text away: 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738).
Our rules
- DARIMARKET is for adults 21 and over, only where sports betting is legal.
- We publish research about what already happened. Nothing here is a guarantee, and no number makes a bet safe.
- We don't take bets, hold money or offer credit.
Set limits before you start
- A budget: decide what you can afford to lose this week or month, and stop when it's gone. The bankroll guides explain units and stake sizing.
- A time limit: betting shouldn't crowd out work, sleep or people.
- Book tools: most sportsbooks, including FanDuel and DraftKings, let you set deposit limits, take a time-out or self-exclude from your account settings.
- No chasing: never raise stakes to win back losses.
Warning signs
- Betting more than you planned, or more often.
- Borrowing money, or using money meant for bills, to bet.
- Hiding betting from family or friends.
- Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut back.
- Chasing losses, or betting to escape stress.
Free, confidential help
- Call or text 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), the national problem gambling helpline, 24/7.
- National Council on Problem Gambling: ncpgambling.org lists state resources, chat and treatment options.
- Self-exclusion: many states run self-exclusion programs that block you from every licensed sportsbook there. Your state gaming regulator's website has the details.
