How to research NFL player props
How do you research NFL player props?
Start with the player's role: snaps, targets or carries, and whether anything changed this week (injuries, depth chart). Then check how often he cleared the line in his last 10 and last 5 games, the opponent's defense against that stat, the likely game script (spread and total), weather for outdoor games, and finally the price at FanDuel or DraftKings. A strong hit rate with a changed role is a weaker case than it looks.
1. Role first. Volume drives NFL props. Look at snap share, targets, routes or carries over recent weeks. A backup who just became the starter needs a different read than his season numbers suggest.
2. Hit rates. Check the last 10 and the last 5 on the exact line the book posts. NFL seasons are short, so a last 10 often reaches back into last season; DARIMARKET's player pages show how many games he played this season and last.
3. Matchup. How many yards or receptions does the opponent allow to that position per game? Team pages and game pages list both rosters together.
4. Game script and weather. The spread and total hint at whether a team will pass or run late. Wind of 15+ mph tends to cut passing and kicking numbers.
5. Price. Compare FanDuel and DraftKings. A good read at a bad price can still be a poor bet.
Check the final injury report about 90 minutes before kickoff; DARIMARKET's last-minute research posts open then.
