NHL Saturday Recap (Oct 10): What Cashed

Eighteen DARIMARKET plays cashed across the seven NHL games we recapped on Saturday. The biggest story was Toronto's 6-3 win in Colorado, where four of our plays cashed, led by Nathan MacKinnon putting 8 shots on goal against a 3.5 line. Two games went to a shootout, including Montreal's 1-0 win over Detroit after 65 scoreless minutes, and Kirill Kaprizov scored 3 goals in Minnesota's 4-1 win in Florida.

Flyers vs. Bruins

Boston beat Philadelphia 5-1 and outshot the Flyers 32-15, scoring all five of its goals at even strength. David Jiricek under 1.5 shots on goal and the alt Under 6.5 total goals both cashed, with the game finishing on 6 goals.

Wild vs. Panthers

Minnesota beat Florida 4-1 behind a Kaprizov hat trick, and Florida came up empty on all 5 of its power plays. The Wild +1.5 puck line, Quinn Hughes 1+ points and the alt Under 6.5 total goals all cashed, with Hughes picking up his assist on Kaprizov's power-play goal at 6:18 of the 1st.

Hurricanes vs. Blackhawks

Carolina beat Chicago 5-2 and outshot the Blackhawks 39-26, with five different players scoring for the Hurricanes. The Hurricanes moneyline and Blackhawks under 2.5 team goals both cashed, with Chicago held to 2 goals and 0-for-2 on the power play.

Red Wings vs. Canadiens

Montreal won 1-0 in a shootout after Daniil Tarasov and Jacob Fowler each stopped all 30 shots they faced through regulation and overtime. Alex DeBrincat 3+ shots on goal and Lucas Raymond 2+ shots on goal both cashed, with DeBrincat finishing on 7 shots and Raymond on 4.

Predators vs. Senators

Ottawa came back from 2-0 down and beat Nashville 3-2 in a shootout, with Drake Batherson tying it at 18:37 of the 3rd. Roman Josi 2+ shots on goal, the alt Under 6.5 total goals and the Senators moneyline all cashed, and Josi's second shot on goal came 1:56 into overtime.

Maple Leafs vs. Avalanche

Toronto scored the last four goals to beat Colorado 6-3, going 2-for-4 on the power play while Colorado was held off the board on all five of its chances. MacKinnon 4+ shots on goal, Jack Roslovic 2+ shots on goal, Kirill Marchenko 1+ points and Gabriel Landeskog under 2.5 shots on goal all cashed.

Lightning vs. Islanders

Tampa Bay beat the Islanders 5-3 as Brandon Hagel broke a 3-3 tie at 18:16 of the 3rd and finished a hat trick into the empty net 21 seconds later. Matthew Schaefer 2+ shots on goal and Nikita Kucherov under 3.5 shots on goal both cashed, with Schaefer putting 8 shots on goal.
